I guess fried tarantulas would be out then.
I would love to have the job of Andrew Zimmern of Bizarre Foods.
If he can't eat it, IT HAS TO BE BAD!! Check out this TOFU repulsion.

ROFLMAO

I don't know who he is! But I love his reactions...but moreso the off camera mirth of his director.

You can google him or see many episodes on youtube. I love to watch him.
I only eat because I have too so food is not a priority but I love watching this.
I'm sure you've been here.....Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo
I went to a very large market in Naha that blew me away with all they carried.

May have mentioned this previously but on my walks every day in Okinawa,
Chatan town, I always passed this one restaurant, that I never got to,
that had menus outside and one struck me as so cool when describing pork
and how good it is for you but this will be stuck in my memory forever.....
We use all the pig except the voice.
Two of our friends, Yoko and Yuriko, took my daughter and I to a local
restaurant just for me because I spoke of love of pigs feet and how my Mom prepared them.
But this place was awesome and the pigs feet cooked to perfection. Yum-yum.

HA!!!

I haven't seen that restaurant before in Chatan but I will look out for it next time I go. There is some great food in Japan.

We like the Anthony Bourdain show. We treat holidays much the same way - a great chance to eat and drink a lot.

With apologies to the Italian tourist board but last summer in Rome when me and my wife were given the choice between visiting the Sistine Chapel or eating a triple scoop of gelato ice cream and enjoying a cappucino...well, we opted for the ice cream and coffee first...

(Sistine Chapel is over-rated...gelato ice cream isn't!)

Cheers,

Eisho
